Our company principal, Carl Holden (pictured left - performing a Hard Disk recovery), has been deeply involved with Electronics - since the age of 8.
Self-taught, he has gained a knowledge from personal 'hands-on' experience and what some say is an 'intuitive' gift for things electronic.
By the age of 12 he designed and built what would now be termed a "Community Radio Station". A stint at Australia's largest Radio station in the 1970's resulted in resulted in freelancing in Electro-Acoustic design, Television maintenance, Sound Recording and Voice work.

The interest in Personal Computing also started in the late 1970's when he was asked to repair and maintain the 'hardware' for a new "start-up" company using Computers.
The IBM PC of the early 1980's brought more possibilities, and the later Apple Macintosh and Amiga platforms gave the real start to what we now refer to as Multimedia capability.
Networking............And Modems !
...... led to Bulletin Boards, that led to "The Internet".
